As of January 2017, citizens in many of the United States have voted to see that “recreational” cannabis is now legal. Washington State citizens who are 21 or older may walk in a cannabis store and meet polite, informed staff and select the types of cannabis they want.

Here are some photos of one way that the legal cannabis is packaged in a glass container with a rubberized glass lid. After the cannabis is smoked, there is a nice glass container left for other uses, or to recycle. The particular brand shown is a hybrid, and was purchased during a 20% off sale at Sativa Sisters. This product is only available to people 21 years or older and only in Washington State. This particular type is from Seattle-based Dawg Star, and the blend is called "Jazz."

Warrior of the Mist A Biography of Qualchan by T. G. Boyden 1996

Glen Adams, owner and printer of Ye Galleon Press, Fairfield, Washington, encouraged T. G. Boyden (T. G. Knudsen) to write a manuscript about the Yakama warrior, Qualchan. Mr. Adams paid for the printing.

In July 1996, Mr. Adams published the first edition 500 hard case copies of Warrior of the Mist, a Biography of Qualchan, Chief Owhi's Son, from a title suggested by L. V. McWhorter. Mr. Adams also published the first edition in 500 paperback copies, with a blue border around illustrations of a warrior and forest animals.

 

 

Warrior of the Mist: First Edition Paperback 500 Copies

The first paperback edition of Warrior of the Mist was printed in Summer 1996 by Glen Adams, owner of Ye Galleon Press. Glen printed 500 copies of the paperback first edition, with a blue border. This first edition was printed with the author's name listed as T. G. Boyden.

 

 

 

Warrior of the Mist 2nd Edition 2003

The second edition of Warrior of the Mist was printed in Spring 2003 by Glen Adams, owner of Ye Galleon Press. He printed it because the first edition was sold out, it was listed as rare, and readers wanted copies. Glen printed 500 copies of the second edition in Spring 2003, shortly before his death in October 2003. This second edition was printed with the author's name listed as T. G. Knudsen, to reflect her name change.

The side view shows a sleek "skimmer" look with a straight sole, not one of the curved "boat" shoes that so many ballerina flats have. The cute bow looks classy with the gold-colored buckle, as well as comfortable with the rounded toe. And the back of the shoe has the "tab" back, instead of a single seam. Ms. Dashwood cannot comment on the exact feel of this shoe, as she can't afford it. But for those who can, this looks like a very nice ballerina flat!

The back label does provide a caveat “Not for use during pregnancy.” The ingredients list includes almond or apricot kernel oil, along with jojoba oil, beeswax, and Vitamin E. Other unspecified ingredients are essential oils, flower and gem essences.
 

Here at the Merry Rose, we tried this balm. The sweet smell is pleasant, and dreams did seem to be pleasant also, though we didn’t keep a record. We also have tried it at the beginning of the day. Using this balm seemed to help keep busy days from becoming overwhelming. Overall, we like this calming balm.

It's a rare home that doesn't contain at least a few assortments of dishes, such as mismatched cups or saucers. The photo above shows a saucer that has been around our home for longer than I remember, and where I got it is also a mystery. After running an Internet search, I found some information. I still couldn't find an exact match to this saucer. But I learned a lot about an American manufacturer, and will keep looking for more TS&T dishes.
